Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Mash the beans or chickpeas thoroughly in a bowl using a masher or hand mixer.
  • Add the mashed vegetables, garlic, and optional tahini or spices to the beans.
  • Mix well and season with lemon juice, spices, or pepper to taste.
  • Roll the mixture into four balls with wet hands and flatten them slightly.
  • Coat the burgers in seeds or crumbs if desired and place on an oiled baking tray.
  • Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, turning halfway through, then cool slightly before serving.
