Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add bacon and fry for 2 to 3 minutes until browned.
  • Add red pepper, leek, garlic, and chilli flakes to the pan.
  • Season with salt and pepper and cook gently for 4 minutes.
  • Add a splash of boiling water and stir to combine ingredients.
  • Stir in the 150g of cooked pasta and fresh basil.
  • Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately.
