Steps

  • Boil a large pan of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to packet instructions.
  • Fry the onion and garlic in olive oil for five minutes.
  • Stir in the chilli and tomatoes and cook on medium-low heat for two minutes.
  • Add half the basil and the squid, simmering for 5 to 10 minutes until tender.
  • Drain the pasta and combine it with the sauce in the pan.
  • Season to taste and serve topped with remaining basil and a lemon wedge.
