Steps

  • Combine beef mince, egg, and onion in a bowl.
  • Roll the mixture into walnut-sized balls using wet hands.
  • Fry meatballs in oil for 4 to 5 minutes until brown and cooked.
  • Soften onion and garlic in oil over low heat.
  • Fry whole spices for 3 to 4 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in ground spices and fry for 2 more minutes.
  • Add canned tomatoes and simmer for 20 minutes to thicken.
  • Simmer meatballs in the sauce for 5 minutes.
  • Serve the meatballs and sauce over cooked rice.
