Method

Season the fish strips with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

Place beaten eggs in a bowl and oatmeal on a separate plate.

Brush fish with egg and coat thoroughly in oatmeal.

Fry fish in hot oil for 6 to 8 minutes until golden and cooked.

Drain fish on kitchen paper and keep warm.

Mix all tartare sauce ingredients together in a bowl.

Serve fish with small bowls of tartare sauce and lemon wedges.
