Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, butter, eggs, and milk in a bowl to form a soft dough.
  • Fold in the dates and figs and roll the dough to a thickness of 4cm.
  • Cut into rounds and place onto a baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops with egg wash and bake for 20 minutes.
