Steps

  • Place cherries and 500ml water in a saucepan and boil until tender and water is almost evaporated.
  • Grate the apples and add to the pan, boiling until the fruit is soft and liquid has disappeared.
  • Add sugar and lemon juice, then boil until the mixture reaches 105°C.
  • Stir in the hazelnuts toward the end of the cooking process.
  • Cool slightly and pour the jam into hot clean jars to seal.
