Steps

  • Boil the chicken in a saucepan for 10 minutes until cooked through.
  • Shred the cooled chicken and reserve the cooking liquid.
  • Soak the breadcrumbs in the milk.
  • Fry the onion in oil until golden.
  • Add garlic and chilli and fry for 1 minute.
  • Stir in the paprika, turmeric, and seasoning.
  • Add shredded chicken and coat with spices for 1 minute.
  • Pour in the soaked breadcrumbs, milk, and 200ml of reserved stock.
  • Bring to a boil then simmer gently for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the walnuts and simmer for another 5 minutes until creamy.
  • Stir in the parmesan and adjust seasoning to taste.
