Steps

  • Crush 300g of biscuits in a freezer bag using a rolling pin until they resemble breadcrumbs.
  • Melt 60g of butter in a small saucepan over low to medium heat.
  • Mix the crushed biscuits and melted butter in a bowl and press into the bottom of a tart tin.
  • Spread 450g of dulce de leche evenly over the biscuit base.
  • Layer sliced bananas on top, cover with cling film, and chill in the fridge for one hour.
  • Whip 350ml of double cream with 1 tbsp of icing sugar to soft peaks and spread over the bananas.
  • Sprinkle 100g of grated dark chocolate over the top just before serving.
