Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Simmer double cream and milk in a large saucepan.
  • Add potatoes, butter, most of the Stilton, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer the mixture gently for five minutes.
  • Transfer to an ovenproof dish and top with remaining Stilton.
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 200°C until golden-brown.
