Steps

  • Dice the ham into 5mm pieces and halve the prepared Brussels sprouts.
  • Boil the sprouts in salted water for a few minutes until tender yet firm.
  • Drain the sprouts in a colander.
  • Toast the sesame seeds in a frying pan over medium heat until golden brown.
  • Remove the seeds and heat the sesame oil and butter in the pan.
  • Sauté the ham in the fat until warm, then add the sprouts.
  • Fry the mixture on high heat for 2 minutes and season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir in the toasted sesame seeds and serve in a dish.
