Steps

  • Trim sinew from the beef and cut into very thin strips.
  • Crush the garlic and onion and finely chop the ginger.
  • Mix the spring onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, chilli powder, and sugar in a bowl.
  • Combine the sauce with the beef strips and mix thoroughly.
  • Slice the pear into thin strips and prepare the lettuce leaves.
  • Arrange lettuce and pear on plates and top with the beef mixture.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and a raw quail egg yolk.
