Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Line a small baking tray with greased baking parchment.
  • Blend the butter, sugar, and egg in a food processor.
  • Add the flour and baking powder and blend into a batter before transferring to the tray.
  • Arrange pineapple slices on top and sprinkle with caster sugar.
  • Bake for 12 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  • Simmer honey, lime juice, and chilli in a pan for five minutes until syrupy.
  • Drizzle the chilli icing over the cake to serve.
