Method

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Line a small baking tray with greased baking parchment.

Blend the butter, sugar, and egg in a food processor.

Add the flour and baking powder and blend into a batter before transferring to the tray.

Arrange pineapple slices on top and sprinkle with caster sugar.

Bake for 12 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Simmer honey, lime juice, and chilli in a pan for five minutes until syrupy.

Drizzle the chilli icing over the cake to serve.
