Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  • Unroll the pastry and brush it lightly with water.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and sprinkle over the pastry.
  • Fold both long ends of the pastry to meet in the middle.
  • Brush with more water, sprinkle more sugar mixture, and fold again.
  • Cut the pastry into 1cm slices and place them on a baking tray.
  • Bake for ten minutes or until cooked through.
  • Serve the palmiers with whipped cream and orange wedges.
