Steps

  • Combine beef, egg, breadcrumbs, herbs, and grated garlic in a bowl.
  • Season with salt and pepper and roll into 12 equal balls.
  • Fry meatballs in batches in hot oil for 8 minutes until golden.
  • Add tomatoes, herbs, sugar, and more grated garlic to the meatballs.
  • Simmer the sauce and meatballs over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Boil the spaghetti in salted water for 10 to 12 minutes until cooked.
  • Drain the pasta and toss with the meatballs and sauce.
  • Divide the mixture between two serving bowls and serve.
