Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Roll out the puff pastry into a large rectangle.
  • Place the marzipan down the center and top with orange slices.
  • Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Cut 2.5 cm strips along the sides and plait them across the filling.
  • Brush the pastry with beaten egg and place it on a baking tray.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until the plait is golden.
  • Dust the pastry with icing sugar.
  • Mix whipped cream and mascarpone in a bowl until smooth and serve.
