Steps

  • Combine the chilli oil, paprika, chilli powder, sugar, lime juice, and zest into a paste.
  • Cut chicken breasts into strips, coat in the paste, and marinate for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Mix tomatoes, chilli, lime juice, onion, avocados, olive oil, and coriander in a bowl.
  • Season the salsa with salt and pepper and transfer to a serving dish.
  • Preheat a barbecue or ridged griddle pan.
  • Thread chicken strips onto skewers and grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  • Serve chicken with salsa, warm tortillas, lettuce, and soured cream.
