Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Combine topping ingredients in a bowl and spread on a non-stick baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until crisp and golden, stirring occasionally.
  • Combine filling ingredients in a large pan over high heat for 3-4 minutes to dissolve sugar.
  • Cover and simmer for seven minutes until plums soften.
  • Remove and discard the star anise.
  • Divide plums into bowls and top with the granola.
