Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Cut a cross into the top of each fig and squeeze the base to open them.
  • Stuff each fig with a slice of prosciutto.
  • Drizzle the figs with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the figs on a baking sheet and roast for five minutes until warmed through.
  • Serve the roasted figs on a plate with the toasted bread.
