Steps

  • Cook the pasta in a large pan of boiling salted water for 10-12 minutes until al dente.
  • Gently warm the cream, butter, and nutmeg in a saucepan.
  • Stir the parmesan cheese into the warm cream mixture.
  • Drain the pasta while reserving 45ml of the cooking water.
  • Combine the pasta with the cream sauce and add enough reserved water to loosen the consistency.
  • Season with black pepper and serve immediately.
