Steps

  • Heat butter in a small frying pan and add potato slices and garlic.
  • Pour 300ml cream and 100ml water over potatoes and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cover and bring to a boil.
  • Simmer gently for 20 to 25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  • Uncover for the final five minutes to reduce the liquid.
  • Place the potatoes onto serving plates to serve.
