Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Heat milk in a saucepan and stir in coffee granules until dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in sugar and eggs until combined.
  • Cut six bread circles using a ring cutter and soak them in the coffee mixture.
  • Layer soaked bread and dates into two ramekins.
  • Pour any remaining liquid over the puddings.
  • Bake for 10 minutes until the mixture is set.
  • Dust with icing sugar and serve immediately.
