Steps

  • Melt 30g of butter in a heavy-based casserole over medium heat.
  • Add sliced onion and soften for one minute.
  • Fry chicken thighs skin-side down for 3 minutes until browned.
  • Add bacon, flip chicken, and cook for 3 minutes until bacon colors.
  • Add apple wedges and soften for one minute.
  • Pour in 300ml of cider, season, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Serve the dish immediately from the pot.
