Steps

  • Cut the prepared squid into three equal pieces.
  • Heat a griddle pan over a high heat.
  • Coat squid with oil and chilli flakes and season with salt and pepper.
  • Griddle the squid for one minute and remove from heat.
  • Combine chilli, pineapple, citrus juices, and icing sugar in a bowl to make salsa.
  • Garnish with lettuce and place the squid on top.
