Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  • Fry the onions in oil until soft, then stir in butter and flour.
  • Cook on low heat for one minute.
  • Gradually whisk in the milk and cook for two minutes until thickened.
  • Stir in half of the grated cheese.
  • Pan-fry the salmon steak for one minute on each side.
  • Place the salmon in a small oven-proof dish.
  • Arrange the steamed broccoli, carrots, and tomatoes around the fish.
  • Pour the sauce over the ingredients and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake for ten minutes until golden and bubbling.
