Steps

  • Heat half the oil in a large pan and fry onions, garlic, and herbs for 4 minutes until golden.
  • Brown the beef mince in three separate batches in a different pan using remaining oil.
  • Combine the browned beef with the onion and herb mixture.
  • Add the tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce and bring to a simmer.
  • Dissolve stock cubes in 1 litre of boiling water and add to the pan.
  • Simmer uncovered for 1 hour until the sauce thickens.
