Steps

  • Heat clarified butter in a non-stick pan and fry semolina on low heat until toasty and golden.
  • Stir in the sugar until the mixture reaches a syrupy consistency.
  • Add mashed banana, 550ml warmed milk, soaked saffron, nutmeg, sultanas, and cardamom to the semolina.
  • Simmer the mixture while stirring occasionally until fully cooked.
  • Serve warm in small ramekins and garnish with toasted flaked almonds.
