Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Heat lime juice, whisky, and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  • Boil the mixture without stirring for 5 to 7 minutes until it becomes syrupy.
  • Stir in the lime zest then remove the pan from the heat.
  • Place prawns in an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with chopped chilli.
  • Brush the prawns with oil and the prepared glaze.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the prawns are opaque.
  • Apply more glaze before serving and reserve any extra for dipping.
