Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Melt butter in a large saucepan and sauté chopped onion until soft.
  • Stir in cream and stock, bring to a boil, and simmer to thicken.
  • Fry sliced mushrooms in butter until golden brown.
  • Season mushrooms with herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the turkey, ham, and mushrooms to the cream sauce and stir.
  • Boil potatoes until soft, then mash with butter, egg yolk, and milk.
  • Transfer the meat mixture to a gratin dish and spread mashed potatoes on top.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes until the topping is golden and the filling is hot.
