Steps

  • Sift 115g of flour into a large bowl and add salt and pepper.
  • Crack the eggs into a well in the flour and gradually beat in 300ml of milk.
  • Strain the batter through a sieve, stir in thyme, and let rest for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C.
  • Brown the sausages in a pan until golden and brush them with mustard.
  • Heat 30g of fat in an ovenproof dish for five minutes until very hot.
  • Add sausages to the dish, pour in batter, and bake for 35 minutes at 200°C.
  • Serve the dish seasoned with pepper and topped with butter.
