Steps

  • Drain the soaked rice and place it into a pot with 365ml of fresh water.
  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • Add the lemon juice and stir the mixture thoroughly.
  • Cover the pan with a lid and reduce the heat.
  • Simmer the rice gently for 7-8 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and take the pan off the heat.
  • Let the rice stand for five minutes to allow excess moisture to escape.
  • Fluff the rice with a fork and serve on plates.
