Steps

  • Cube the beef into bite-sized pieces.
  • Thread the beef pieces onto the wooden skewers.
  • Heat a griddle pan over medium heat with a splash of oil.
  • Brown the skewers in the pan and turn once.
  • Mix the soy sauce, honey, and lime juice in a bowl to make the glaze.
  • Brush the glaze onto the skewers and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Remove skewers from heat and rest for one minute.
  • Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for one minute.
  • Heat a wok until almost smoking and add garlic, ginger, onion, tomato, sesame oil, and soy sauce.
  • Stir-fry for two minutes, then add the broccoli and cook for one more minute.
  • Serve the skewers on top of the stir-fried vegetables.
