Steps

  • Place flour, 125ml lukewarm water, oil, and salt in a bowl.
  • Mix the dough and knead for five minutes until soft and stretchy.
  • Cover the bowl with cling film and rest for 15 minutes.
  • Mix filling ingredients together and mash with a fork.
  • Divide the dough into four pieces, keeping a small amount aside for repairs.
  • Roll each ball on a floured surface to 5mm thickness.
  • Place 30ml of filling in the center and gather edges to seal.
  • Flatten and roll the stuffed parathas as thinly as possible.
  • Cook in an oiled pan for three minutes per side until brown.
  • Repeat for remaining breads and serve warm or cold.
