Steps

  • Mix soy sauce, mirin, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and chilli flakes in a shallow dish.
  • Coat the pork in the marinade and chill for 15 minutes.
  • Heat 15ml of oil in a wok and stir-fry half the pork for 2 minutes.
  • Remove the first batch and stir-fry the remaining pork for 2 minutes.
  • Heat the remaining oil and stir-fry garlic, chillies, 15ml water, and onions for 2 minutes.
  • Cover and cook for 2 minutes, then add soy sauce, sugar, and pork to cook for 1 minute.
  • Garnish with roasted peanuts and serve with steamed rice.
