Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Grind the coriander seeds, cumin seeds, chilli flakes, and ginger in a pestle and mortar.
  • Combine spices with garlic, onion, and minced beef in a bowl.
  • Season with salt and pepper then shape into two patties.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan and fry patties for two minutes per side.
  • Transfer burgers to a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Place parsnips on a baking sheet, drizzle with oil, and season.
  • Roast parsnips in the oven for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  • Serve the cooked burgers with parsnips on the side.
