Steps

  • Flatten the beef fillet with a mallet and cut into wafer-thin slices.
  • Mix the wasabi paste, mayonnaise, and sugar in a small bowl.
  • Mix the cumin, chilli flakes, pepper, and salt on a plate and coat the beef slices.
  • Heat groundnut oil in a wok until smoking and stir-fry the beef for one minute.
  • Add rice wine, soy sauce, and salt, then stir in coriander and spring onion.
  • Wrap the beef in warm tortillas and top with wasabi mayonnaise.
