Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Bake almonds on a tray for 7-10 minutes until golden, then coarsely grind.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Sieve and beat in the cocoa powder.

Beat the egg and yolk together and stir into the mixture.

Mix in crushed biscuits, ground almonds, and liqueur.

Spoon into a lined 20x10cm loaf tin, press down, and chill for four hours.

Invert the tin onto a dish and remove the film.

Decorate with desired toppings before serving.
