Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 170°C and line a tray with parchment paper.
  • Melt the butter and dark chocolate in a bowl over simmering water and let cool slightly.
  • Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl with an electric mixer until creamy.
  • Beat the melted chocolate mixture into the eggs, then incorporate flour, salt, and baking powder.
  • Stir in the milk chocolate chips.
  • Place small heaps 5cm apart on the tray and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Cool on the tray for a few minutes before moving to a wire rack.
