Steps

  • Boil the potatoes in salted water for 5-10 minutes until tender.
  • Drain the potatoes and mash them until smooth.
  • Simmer the fish, onion, and 600ml water in a covered pan for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove the fish from the pan, flake the flesh finely, and return it to the pan.
  • Add 600ml milk, bring to a boil, and mix in the mashed potatoes.
  • Stir in the butter and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the soup garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
