Steps

  • Preheat the grill to high.
  • Slash mackerel sides and season with salt and pepper.
  • Grill on a tray for 4 minutes per side.
  • Transfer fish to a deep serving dish.
  • Top fish with chopped tomatoes and capers.
  • Pour tray juices and lemon juice over the fish.
  • Set fish aside in a warm place.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add potatoes, peppers, and garlic.
  • Add wine and simmer until potatoes are tender and peppers are soft.
  • Season vegetable mixture with salt and pepper.
  • Serve mackerel with potatoes and peppers on the side.
