Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Bake sausages on trays for 20 minutes until golden-brown and let cool.
  • Cut sausages into small pieces and place in a large casserole dish.
  • Fry bacon for 5 minutes until crisp and add to the sausages.
  • Sauté onions in oil for 5 minutes until softened.
  • Add garlic and cook for 3 minutes until onions are golden-brown.
  • Stir in smoked paprika and cook for a few seconds.
  • Add stock, tomatoes, purée, sauce, sugar, and herbs to the pan and simmer.
  • Combine sauce with meat and simmer gently covered for 20 minutes.
  • Rinse beans, stir into casserole, and cook for 10 minutes until thickened.
