Steps

  • Heat oil in a frying pan and cook onion for 10 minutes.
  • Add garlic and chilli and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in tomatoes and simmer for 50 minutes until thick.
  • Boil dried beans with garlic and sage for 40 minutes and drain.
  • Brown sausages in oil in a separate frying pan and drain.
  • Combine beans, sausages, and sauce in the pan.
  • Cook for 15 minutes until tender and seasoned.
  • Serve garnished with fresh sage leaves.
