Steps

  • Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Create a well in the center, add water, and knead into a smooth dough.
  • Form the dough into a ball and rest for 15 minutes in an oiled, covered bowl.
  • Divide into four equal balls and rest for another 15 minutes.
  • Roll out each piece of dough to a thickness of approximately 6 mm.
  • Cook the dough on a hot, lightly oiled griddle until both sides are brown.
  • Serve warm as an accompaniment to a curry meal.
