Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Boil the potatoes and swede in salted water until tender and drain.
  • Cook the sliced cabbage in 50g of butter until tender but still green.
  • Mash the potatoes and swede with 25g of butter and the cabbage.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer to an ovenproof dish and top with the grated cheese.
  • Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncovered for 15 minutes.
