Combine the sugar, oil, warm water, and yeast in a bowl and stir gently.
Make a well in the flour and gradually mix in the yeast mixture by hand.
Knead the dough until smooth, roll into a ball, and coat with oil.
Place dough in a floured dish, cover, and let rise in a warm place for one hour.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Wrap the garlic bulb in foil with olive oil and roast for one hour until tender.
Mash the cooled garlic with butter, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
Grease a pizza pan or baking tray with olive oil.
Roll the dough into a 2cm thick rectangle or smaller individual pieces.
Place dough on the tray and prick the surface all over with a fork.
Spread the garlic butter over the dough and leave to prove for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 230°C.
Bake the bread for 15-20 minutes until golden-brown.
