Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a large baking mould.
  • Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bowl over a saucepan of hot water.
  • Whisk the egg yolks with icing sugar in a separate bowl until pale and creamy.
  • Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg yolk mixture.
  • Whisk egg whites to soft peaks and fold gradually into the chocolate mixture.
  • Pour mixture into the mould and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
