Steps

  • Heat 500ml of vegetable oil in a deep saucepan until a bread cube sizzles.
  • Place a spoonful of mincemeat on each pastry strip and fold into triangles.
  • Seal the pastry edges and brush each triangle with beaten egg.
  • Carefully fry the triangles in hot oil for three minutes.
  • Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper.
  • Serve parcels with a dollop of yoghurt and a dusting of sugar.
