Steps

  • Season the flour with salt and pepper and whisk the eggs with the milk.
  • Coat each chicken piece in the seasoned flour and then dip into the egg mixture.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken for 15 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken to a warm plate and stir a little flour into the remaining hot oil.
  • Gradually whisk in cold water and seasonings until the gravy reaches your preferred thickness.
  • Simmer the gravy for several minutes and pour it over the fried chicken.
