Steps

  • Soak the noodles in warm water for 15 minutes.
  • Drain the noodles and cut them into 7.5cm lengths.
  • Heat a wok with oil until it is smoking hot.
  • Stir-fry the spring onions and garlic for 15 seconds.
  • Add the beef and stir-fry for 8 minutes until cooked.
  • Add all sauce ingredients except sesame oil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Mix in the noodles and sesame oil and cook for 5 minutes until liquid evaporates.
  • Ladle into bowls and garnish with chopped spring onions.
