Steps

  • Melt butter, sugar, and honey in a saucepan over heat while stirring occasionally.
  • Stir the oats and optional ingredients into the melted mixture and mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a prepared cake tin and spread to a 2cm thickness.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  • Cool the flapjacks in the tin before turning out and cutting into squares.
